Way more keyboards than I generally can handle. That said this is a rockin hard rock lp with great keys but there is also some cool lead guitar throughout. From the best year for music ever......1971.

As a fairly big fan of early 70's prog rock, I tend to be a rather harsh critic of albums that don't cut it. Since I am NOT a particularly big fan of Patrick Moraz, I expected this to be typically disappointing. Wrong! It's actually very good, and fairly heavy prog rock with a reasonable amount of Moraz's keyboards (which for once, don't turn me off). But the real scene stealer here is the excellent guitar work from Peter Lockett. His star truely shines on this LP, and I think this is what makes the album worth seeking out. This is NOT soft prog!

Very sharp and dynamic, original, but also there's some... guess. Well, jamming. "Passing Years" is a stupid love ballad. Such a Beautiful Day is sunny, uplifting like Triumvirat. Pale Sky is more like a prog epic, very nice one. Basia reminds me of Canterbury Scene, In The Land Of Grey And Pink (bombastic but relaxed, dandy) and more Jazz-Rock.. Krautrock Jazz-Rock is abundant in this album too. More Tea Vicar is some kind of a jazzy interlude, not very interesting. The last song God is an epic too, but in a Canterbury or Zappa way, more like, so it's a bit loose and too much in the tale, what ever it is. No fooling around anyway, but nice music.
